In Memoriam, In Strength, In Unity

Brian Crain’s Rain.

On this day, take a moment to remember those who have suffered from the atrocity that occurred ten years ago on this date.

Why not give a thought to those who are now in harm’s way, in all areas of the world?

Those who perpetrate evil works will always be overcome by the good that exists in this world.

A remarkable point about We Americans is our propensity for Hope. With such a wondrous character trait, a nation can rise up out of horror and despair, to begin the important work of healing.

From there, such a nation can once again lift up its light to show the rest of the world the direction out of the darkness of hate.

It’s been ten years since the awful events of that day, and we have had our eyes opened for us by others who wish us harm.

Now we have a global economic crisis that threatens to put millions into starvation.

But always remember this one thing:

We are Americans, and we have always persevered in times of disaster and catastrophe.

The current state of affairs across the globe is yet another challenge that we will face head on, as we have many times before.

We have always shown the rest of the world what it takes to push onward against all odds and win, and we will do it again.

This goes beyond the smoke screen of party lines and politics.

This comes back to We The People, and our innovation and willingness to do some hard work. We just can’t help but do this sort of work.

It’s in our DNA.

We will persevere. Do not doubt this.

We will win, yet again.

In honor of our fallen brothers and sisters, and for those in harm’s way: Strength and Safety to You. Be well, look sharp, remember who you are and what ideals you represent.

Here’s something apt for today: How the New World Trade Center will look when it’s completed.

God Help You.

God Help Us All.
